Join HandsOn Jacksonville as we celebrate Family Volunteer Day,
Saturday, November 21st 2009.
We welcome volunteers from of all ages to join us on this day as we prepare books, toys and backpacks to be distributed to hundreds of children and non-profits throughout Jacksonville.
Volunteers can rotate from our various stations during the event and assist with stuffing backpacks, taking inventory of our gifts and matching to our gift requests, and wrapping presents.
Volunteer activities for children will include making peace bracelets, creating ‘lights out’ light switch plates, coloring ’send a smile’ pages to include with gifts, and more!
Shifts are available for volunteers to sign up for, however times are flexible:
9 am to noon / Noon – 3 pm
