It is that time of the year…PTA night with the Jacksonville Suns is here!!!

On Tuesday, May 10, 2011, which is also “Family Feast Night,” all PTA members showing your PTA card when purchasing tickets, will receive 1/2 price tickets at $5.25 in our Special Reserved Section. Your children (ages 4-14) will get in for ONLY $2.50 each.

As an extra bonus, anyone who has volunteered 50 hours at their child’s school will get in for FREE with a verifying certificate. PTAs/PTSAs that qualify for the “Superintendent’s Award” will be recognized during the pre-game show.

On slate for May 10th are the Mobile Bay Bears.

Gates open at 6:00 p.m. and game time is at 7:05 p.m.

On Family Feast Nights the hot dogs, peanuts and ice cream cost 50 cents each.

New Unit Challenge (local unit was chartered in the current school year)
Criteria for award: 50 total members; 15 male members, County Dues paid (if applicable), and 30 percent
of members entered into Just Between Friends

Established Unit Challenge (local unit existed the previous school year)
Criteria for award: 10% increase for 600 or less members or 5% increase for 601 or more members
(based on previous year’s membership); 25 more males than previous year, County Dues paid (if
applicable), and 30 percent of current members entered into Just Between Friends.

Card Carrying Members are INVITED to the Jags game in December! PTA members are eligible for discounted tickets on this special night where the Jags will recognize each school’s Teacher of the Year!
Local Units are encouraged to purchase a ticket for their teacher of the year nominee so that they can enjoy this special honor!

1. Be able to name two other pieces of functionality in the system besides membership management.
2. Understand how to add your unit if you have not already done so.
3. Be able to name your three resources for using the Just Between Friends Community

Pre-requisites: Make sure you have login credentials to access the system (ie. a working username and password to log into www.justbetweenfriends.com) If not, you only need to click on Contact us on www.justbetweenfriends.com in the upper right hand corner and they will set them up.

Honorary Life Membership.
If you are planning on honoring one of your PTA members with an Honorary Life Membership at the P&P Luncheon and have already sent the form to the State office and did not fill it out directing the State office to send the Certificate and Pin to Annette Worthen, please contact her at annetteworthen@gmail.com and let her know to add the recipient to her list. If you have not sent the form to the State office yet, please fill it out, including the section on where to send it. Have the Certificate and Pin sent directly to Annette Worthen, (call her or email for the address).
