How about collecting:

  • Soda Can Tabs – Benefits Ronald McDonald House
  • Old Cellphones – Helps out the battered women
  • Old eyeglasses – Sent to under priviledge in 3rd world countries
  • Unused travel size hyigene products (those you’ve picked up on your vacations – shampoo, soap, body lotion) – given to homeless shelters

DCCPTA makes it EASY for you to run these types of drives and qualify for the award. Just bring in your collections to the monthly DCCPTA meetings or send them through the school mail to the Teacher’s Supply Depot School #10. Chris Buckley will gladly make sure your PTA / PTSA collection drive gets to the appropriate charity!
