Greetings dedicated volunteers,

We hope this newsletter finds you in good health and high spirits. As the new school year kicks off and we focus on our membership drives, we want to extend a warm welcome to both new and returning families. As we look ahead to the coming year, we have an exciting lineup of events, workshops, and business partnerships planned to further enhance the value of your memberships. We will continue to focus on addressing the evolving needs of our diverse membership base. By now you will have received your Kit of Materials from Florida PTA if you are a President. Please take your time digesting this wealth of information on how to properly operate as a PTA. I would encourage you to share the information contained in the KOM with the rest of your board members. This will ensure everyone the opportunity to help implement the many wonderful things your local unit has planned to serve your school community.Your feedback is crucial in shaping our future endeavors. Thank you in advance for your participation in our polls and surveys to provide input on ways to best serve you. We value your opinion. Together, we can create an inclusive and vibrant community that thrives on collaboration and shared knowledge. Make an attempt to reach out to another local unit to share ideas or offer assistance. In doing so you may gain insight and ideas to further the mission of PTA.

National PTA is offering Grant opportunities to local units. Each year, National PTA offers awards or funding to honor or support PTAs as they engage families, support student success, improve the health and safety of students and families, increase access to arts education or celebrate advocacy and diversity.
