I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season connecting with family and friends and taking some much-needed rest from all the hard work you do for your communities.

It is Nominating Committee Time! Make sure you review your Bylaws to see what is required for your Nominating Committee to be elected by your membership. You can find some guidelines about this here. Remember a nominating committee must be elected not selected. This is an awesome opportunity to get your local unit members involved in the election process.

Florida PTA scholarship applications are open!
Florida PTA offers a minimum of four (4) scholarships, one each in the following categories: University, Fine Arts, Community College, and Vo-Tech, to a student graduating from a PTSA high school each year. This is a one time (non-renewable) award of $2,000.00 and will be awarded to a worthy student who is interested in getting a start in life through higher education. The application window is open and will remain until February 28th, 2025. You can download the application here.
