We hope you had a wonderful and restful holiday season. As we return to normal day to day functions please remember that your daily contributions to your families and all children are appreciated.
It is Nominating Committee Time! Make sure you review your Bylaws to see what is required for your Nominating Committee to be elected by your membership. You can find some guidelines about this at https://floridapta.org/nominations-and-elections/ . Remember a nominating committee must be elected not selected. This is an awesome opportunity to get your local unit members involved in the election process.
Please join us after our next general meeting on January 25, 2024, for our Lunch & Learn with Lunch provided by Papa John’s. The topic will be Awards. Learn more about how to make sure you are recognized for all of your hard work by applying, get tips and tricks for successful award winning applications.
Be on the lookout for information about the Presidents’ and Principals’ Luncheon on May 15, 2024! Tickets will be available for purchase on January 25th. We are excited to celebrate you and all of your accomplishments!
Florida PTA’s next three Road to Success Zoom Meetings are on January 17th: Healthy Minds State Champion, January 24th: Mid-Year State of the Association and January 31st: Student Scholarships. These meetings take place at 12pm and 7pm every Wednesday. Registration is required go to https://floridapta.org/road-to-success/ to sign up.
Florida PTA LegCon2024 registration is open
LegCon will include informative guest presenters, talking points for your meetings, and networking opportunities. The dates are Sunday, January 28th to Tuesday, January 30th.

Parents and other caregivers, teachers, students, Council and local unit PTA leaders, other child advocacy allies and community members who are concerned about the education, health, safety, and well-being of all children.
