DCCPTA’s President’s Newsletter September 2024

Hello advocates,
During September we celebrate Membership Month! As we welcome new and returning
members this month, let’s reflect on the strength and unity that membership brings.
Each member contributes a unique spark that ignites our community, fostering growth,
support, and shared goals. Let’s inspire one another to reach new heights this month –
every small step taken together creates a path toward great achievements for all
children. Embrace the connections you’ve made, and let’s continue to uplift each other
as we strive to reach our membership goals. Here’s to the power of community and the
incredible journey ahead.

host a Ready, Tech, Go! event, during which parents tackled the question “When is the
right time to give my child a phone?” The tips provided helped guide parents on phone
readiness and how to create and stick to rules around smart phone use.
